Please, you should understand our country is small, really small, we are nothing on our own. Our little national dialect is nothing, our regional capital is nothing without a broader grid of the European community, or better said, commune. Out true capital lies in Brussels and English should be our federal language. The other peoples of the EU, they are no strangers to us, they are of our own kin.
Only united we can compete with countries like China and the US, they are bigger than our own continent. We need federalization, it will bring us great economical prosperity and strenght, safety. Through unity we will reach social justice, we will help people fleeing their destroyed homes in the Third World countries. United, we will do a far easier job to incorporate them successfully, so they can contribute with their hard work and knowledge to our common society.
United, we will be more effective in addressing the climate change and we will build a strong and safe harbour for every good person on this planet, we will protect the nature aswell. We will build a huge welfare state, a paradise not ever seen before. Our pitiful obsession with the small national identity of ours, restricted to a negligible group of ten million, is outdated and holds us back from the real progress we all need so badly.
Please, let’s be reasonable, let’s reject our short-sighted nationalism, let’s embrace Brussels, the EU and the English language, it’s the best we can do for Czechia and for each one of us. |
